Worship with Us

Our Sunday services are at 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.  The later service is our music service accompanied by our organist, as the congregation makes joyful song. Our choir practices Wednesday nights and performs Sundays from September to May.  Starting in June there is no Sunday School until the fall.  Service times remain the same.

Fr. Peter Van Zanten (pictured left) is our pastor and has served in this part time position since 1992.
Jeff Sprengel is our organist and has been with us for several years. We enjoy the spirited cadence of his music during the service.  His preludes are a source of inspiration and joy.

Annette Settle is editor of The Beacon, our church newsletter.
Tawni Ricchio is the bookkeeper for the church.  Greg Settle is our Treasurer.

The first Sunday of each month is Family Sunday.  The liturgy for this Sunday is designed with the children in mind, and our teenage members help orchestrate and participate in the service.  There is no Sunday School on Family Sunday.

New this year,  have had the delightful participation of the Steadfastsongs worship band once a month.  These lively services get everyone singing and create a great atmosphere for worship.  Please consult our calendar page to find out when the Steadfastsongs will be joining us for Eucharist.

Our History

The land for St. Christopher's was donated by Joy Gosk Sanders, and the church was built by congregation and community members in 1972. October 1997, marked the 25th anniversary of the dedication of our sanctuary.
